My first Windows Phone 8 app, CATA Tracker, has officially been published and is available for download. This app provides real-time bus tracking for the CATA bus service in the State College area.
The initial release contains basic bus location tracking only. I have plans to add more features in the near future. If you have any feedback or suggestions, feel free to leave them as a comment.
This is really cool and all, and Imma let you finish, but Is It Tuesday is one of the best apps of all time.
Thanks Emily! haha It looks like Windows Phone is lacking an Is It Tuesday app as well. However, I might have to leave something of that caliber to Shane.
Sweet! I can’t actually install it, so it already be implemented, but do you have any plans for grouping routes? My favorite feature of the Android CATA+ app is the ability to add routes to a group to see all of them on the map at the same time. For example, grouping the campus routes (loops and links) to see them all at once.
Thanks Shane! Grouping routes is not implemented in the initial release (I was in a hurry to get the basic functionality published), but it is in the works. It’s one of my favorite features of CATA+ as well.
Route groups have been implemented in version 2! Read more at http://www.gageames.com/2014/01/cata-tracker-v2/.
i think you should bring the day in the life of gage back.
